i am grateful i got the offer but start date is five weeks away and bills no dey wait
still applying in the meantime but motivation is low because head has shifted already

congrats first, then plan the gap calmly, one week at a time
if cash flow is tight, consider short contract work meanwhile if possible
i used the gap to finish two cert modules and it helped confidence before start
